Commercial Shrink Wrapping
Shrink wrapping is a cost effective way to protect boats, helicopters or plant either while on road transport or while being shipped to another country. Shrink wrap can also be use to construct a temporary structure for maintenance work.
All shrink wrapping work is carried out "in house" by our specially trained operatives, within the Shipshape Team.
Marine grade shrink wrap creates a moulded fit 'as tight as a drum skin' that keeps aircraft, boats, structures and anything else you can think of completely protected!
Shrink wrap coverings protect against dust, weather, pollution, and natural sources of damage such as rain and bird droppings. It is highly waterproof and will substantially reduce weather related maintenance. It is moulded to your needs, creating a custom fit that won't move or chafe like heavy and dirty tarpaulins can. The coverings can be ventilated to eliminate the moisture and mildew problems that are normally associated with storage, moisture inhibitors can also be installed to prevent condensation forming on metal or electrical circuits and causing corrosion. Access doors can be fitted to allow entry under the covers without the need for cutting or removing the covering.
